1. Product Specifications

   Overview
   --------
   IBM ARTIC960 Support for SNA on Windows NT is a package of program services
   that provides up to 4 ports of connectivity per adapter at line speeds up
   to 2,048,000 bps per port.  It provides an SNA interface to SDLC and X.25
   WAN connectivity using either Microsoft SNA Server or IBM eNetwork
   Communications Server for Windows NT.

   The product consists of the following components:
   - Device driver to provide Synchronous Shallow Support for SDLC
     and X.25 WAN connectivity
   - Adapter loader service
   - Link services configuration support
   - Install/Update files
   - IBM ARTIC960 STREAMS-based WAN driver

2. Download the Package File to the Target System

   Step 1: Download the self-extracting file 9WS103W.EXE to a
           temporary directory.

   Step 2: Uncompress the package file by typing:

             9WS103W x /D
                        (where x is the temporary directory)


           The option /D is required to uncompress the file.

   1.0.3 - Coexistance insured with the ARTIC960 support for Frame Relay

6. Release Notes

   1.0.3:
   ------
   - The solution can coexist in a system with the ARTIC960 Support for
     Frame Relay on NT, where some adapters are used to support SDLC and
     X.25 links, and others to support frame relay links.
