IRSERIAL DRIVER DISK

This disk contains the irserial.vxd Windows 95 driver for the OmniBook
4000 family of portable computers.  The irserial.vxd driver contains
echo-cancellation code which is necessary for IrDA communications from
the infrared serial port.  This driver should be installed before the
IrDA software is installed.

To install the echo-cancelling irserial.vxd on an OmniBook 4000 which 
has been upgraded from Windows for Workgroups to Windows 95:

       1. Insert this disk into Drive A: of the OmniBook 4000

       2. Open Control Panel

       3. Double-click the System icon

       4. Select the Device Manager tab

       5. Click the + next to Ports

       6. Select the line corresponding to your physical infrared
          port - probably COM2 or COM3

       7. Click the Properties button

       8. Select the Driver tab

       9. Click the Change Driver button

      10. Click the Have Disk button

      11. Click the Browse button

      12. Find and select the irserial.inf file

      13. Click the 'OK' buttons to close the Open, Install From
          Disk, Select Device, and Properties dialogs

      14. Continue with step 3 of the IrDA installation process
          in the README.TXT file.
