The IRSERIAL DRIVER DISK and IrDA DRIVER DISK contain the drivers necessary to use an IrDA protocol stack for infrared communication on an HP OmniBook 4000, running Windows 95. Requirements: - HP OmniBook 4000 with BIOS 4.10* - Windows 95, installed - IRSERIAL DRIVER DISK (Echo Cancelling Serial Driver for OB4000) - IrDA DRIVER DISK You must remove any previously installed Win95 IrDA drivers. This should be done by running the 'Add/Remove Programs' option in the Control Panel. Highlight the 'Infrared Support for Windows 95 Version...' option in the list and press the 'Add/Remove' button. Windows 95 will remove the drivers. Use the following steps to install IrDA support: 1. Insert the IRSERIAL DRIVER DISK in Drive A: of the OB4000 2. Follow the directions in the INSTALL.TXT file located on the IRSERIAL DRIVER DISK. 3. Insert the IrDA DRIVER DISK into drive A: of your OB4000 4. Begin the IrDA driver installation process again. - The version of LapLink Remote installed on the OB4000 is not IrDA compliant. It can not be run at the same time as IrMonitor.
